Abstract
As the knowledge economy grows, so does the demand for human resources. Quality human resources are critical for the growth of the economy, society, and organizations. Staffing shortages, on the other hand, are a constant source of frustration for small and medium-sized businesses. Because of the organization’s characteristics and the numerous affecting elements, attracting the proper individuals has been a tough issue; maintaining people appears to be much more difficult. This situation is particularly challenging for startups. As a result, the purpose is to provide a trustworthy set of instruments for measuring employee engagement at startup enterprises in Vietnam, specifically in Nha Trang City. The paper researched and described the “Factors affecting employee motivation at startups in Nha Trang City”. The authors apply quantitative research methods to poll employees at Startup companies. The study aims to systematize theoretical issues related to staff motivation. Assess the current condition of employee motivation in startup companies, as well as analyze and identify factors affecting employee motivation. At the same time, propose a number of solutions, management implications to boost employee motivation, thereby assisting organizations in improving their operational capability.
